Thanksgiving Tablescape
It’s about that time of year again: The holidays! Seems like it’s been going on for months now already, right? (It has if you’ve strolled through TJ Maxx, Costco, or any other department store…) Here at Staging Spaces and Design (SS&D) we are finally able to start focusing on our own home decorating and family holiday traditions. Since we are slowing down a little bit, we thought it might be a good idea to bust out our own staging- holiday boxes (you should have seen this process) and bring you a trendy and refreshing take on a Thanksgiving table setting! Keep scrolling for some more photos and a little background on the products shown. Enjoy!
Living in Central Oregon we have all sorts of objects from nature we can use to incorporate the outdoors in our table setting. If you are familiar with Bend, OR at all…the great outdoors is our city’s lifestyle! We went outside to pick up some pine-cones to add to our greenery.
We used two strands of garland from Hobby Lobby (LOVE their selection) and twisted them together. We used sage and a leafy strand with green floral decals. These can be used over again in Spring and Summer incorporated with pastel or vibrant flowers. Possibly even succulents?!?!
To give this tablescape a bit more of an Autumn vibe, we added small white pumpkins that we found at Safeway for super cheap. They look great paired with the winter-berry branches and the seat placement cards.
For a fun twist on staging the seat placement cards, we placed them into the pine-cones! Just be careful with the spikes….
These dishes are fine china that happen to be sentimental to one of our stagers, Mariah. These dishes were handed down to her from her grandmother. We just love how clean and elegant they look with the dusty blue-green sage. The gold details really add a hint of glamour to such a fresh setting.
For a more traditional look, incorporate the warm tones of the fall with the bright hues of white and clean patterns of the table runner. Find a serving tray or platter or a lantern box for a fun table centerpiece.
The time has come to conclude this blog post.
We are grateful to pop open this delish Bogle Old Vine Zin- Cheers!
Thank you for checking us out and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
